The Husband Store

I read this funny story somewhere, I just thought you may find it interesting guys, read on:

A store that sells husbands has just opened in New York City (well did you think anywhere else could open such a store!), where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates. You may visit the store ONLY ONCE!There are six floors and the attributes of the men increase as the shopper ascends the flights. There is, however, a catch . . .. you may choose any man from a particular floor , or you may choose to go up a floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building! So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband .

On the first floor the sign on the door reads:

Floor 1 – These men have jobs. The woman reads the sign and says to herself, “Well, that’s better >than my last boyfriend, but I wonder what’s further up?” So up she goes.

The second floor sign reads:

Floor 2 – These men have jobs and loves kids. The woman remarks to herself, “That’s great, but I wonder what’s >further up?” And up she goes again.

The third floor sign reads:

Floor 3 – These men have jobs, love kids and are extremely good looking. “Hmmm, better” she says. “But I wonder what’s upstairs?”

The fourth floor sign reads:

Floor 4 – These men have jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking and help with the housework. “Wow!” exclaims the woman, “very tempting. BUT, there must be more further up!” And again she heads up another flight.

The fifth floor sign reads:

Floor 5 – These men have jobs, love kids, are extremely good looking, help with the housework and have a strong romantic streak.“Oh, mercy me! But just think… what must be awaiting me further on?” So up to the sixth floor she goes.

The sixth floor sign reads:

Floor 6 – You are visitor 1,781,329,569, to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are IMPOSSIBLE to please. Thank you for shopping at Husband Store and have a nice day!

Hello ladies out there, are we really like that?  I think it’s just not because we are impossible to please but it’s because we are looking for Mr. Right who doesn’t really exist at all.   Some ladies think that it’s better to wait for Mr. Right than to try and ended up with Mr. Oh, All Right.  Well, there’s no Mr. Right in this world, that’s the truth.   I think that two people can be compatible for each other in marriage, but i dont think that there is one single person that is “the right one”. What do you think?

I was browsing the files in my camera few minutes ago and I spotted this picture, I cannot recognized the view at the first time I saw it but when I checked the date when did I take it, I discovered that it was taken on the month of November 2005 and I was in Philippines that time, then I remembered that this was the image I captured while we were on our way home from our fishpond one late afternoon, as far as I remember we were in a hurry because it was already time for Maghrib prayer, then when I glanced at the sky that was what I saw, so I immediately took out my camera and take a snap shot of that beautiful sight I saw in the sky. For those of you who are familiar with our place, then this was taken in the road between our home and Pantalan beside the ricefields there.   Very nice sight right? Hmmm…do agree with me, please! LOL 🙂 Beautiful_sky

The question is why did I post it here in my blog? Okay, it’s just because I really like the scence and I want to share it with you too, you might found it beautiful as I did especially for those who love photography out there.  The second and most important reason why I posted it here is I realized the beauty of Maghrib prayer time, how nice to think that while we are praying the sky gives us a very nice view aside from the reward of our prayer that time.  Try to look at the sky or the horizon before or after you will perform the Maghrib prayer and experience the beauty and nice feeling it can give you, you can feel tranquility and easiness in your heart unless you are an insensetive person.  That’s one of its beauty here on earth, so how come in the Hereafter, the beauty beyond imagination of Paradise and everything therein?  Don’t you ever miss to perform Maghrib prayer and of course all the 5 prayers of the day.  Insha  Allah, we will go to Paradise altogether, Aameen.

I Just Wonder Why

I am looking at my bag (Polo Ralph Lauren) right now and it made me remember the first time I used it while we were shopping with my hubby in one mall here in Kuwait more than 2 years ago, I was looking at the watches in one shop of that mall when 2 arab ladies passed by, they stop and stared at me from head to foot as if they were examining every inch of me, they glanced at my bag always and I pretended not knowing their presence so that I had an enough time to observe their actions and they continued scrutinizing me, I felt it.  After a moment I looked at them with a why-are-you-staring-at-me look and they smiled dryly and went off.

I really wondered why those 2 ladies acted that way,  not only them because I always experienced that kind of incidents from some other arabs also. My friends and relatives also experienced the same sometimes.

I have one aunt here also who shared almost the same story with me, one day she went to the supermarket driving her own car and she was wearing a sunglass, when she parked her car, a teenage arab guy walked near her and he said sarcastically "Filibiniya fi sayyara wa yalbas nathara ba’ad" means "Oh, a Filipina lady has a car and wearing sunglass too!". My aunt was really irritated so she answered to him " Why, what about you? How much your cost? Come, work to me and I’ll pay you money!".

I also read few months ago that while a Philippine actress ( I will not mentioned her name)  was in an Airport, a British woman stared at her cynically from head to foot then she asked the actress which country did she came from and she answered "from Philippines", then the British lady said "Ah, that’s where my maid came from", then the actress proudly answered " Ah, really? And my child’s nanny is a British nurse". The British lady did’t able to say a word.

Quds_2 The bulletin titled "A Remarkable Story" posted today by one of my Friendster friend named Muslim was the reason why I post this picture here. According to the story in that bulletin when Hadhrat Abdullah bin Mubarak (RA) asked the lady he met : Where are you coming from?, the lady answered: "Glorified be He who carried
His servant by night from the Masjid-e-Aqsa (invioble place of
worship) to the Masjid-e-Haraam" (Far distant place of worship) (Surah17 Aayat1) in which she meant that she had come from Masjid-e-Aqsa. I really long and dream to visit this place and I always watched or read the news pertaining to it.  How I wish that my dream would be realized someday insha Allah. It is one of the 3 sacred and holy  Mosque in Islam.  According to the Sunnah, every prayer to be performed there will be equivalent to 500 prayers, that’s why I always pray to the Almighty that I can visit and pray in this Mosque before I die.
