Beijing 2008 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony
I’ve been searching the net since morning to know what will be the start time of Olympic Games in China tomorrow but I cannot find it, I want to watch the Grand Opening Ceremony which is my favorite part but I don’t have any information about the time. Anyone of you here guys knows about, please inform me….. 😦
Actually, the 2008 Summer Olympic Games, officially known as the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, will be celebrated in Beijing, People’s Republic of China from tomorrow August 8 until August 24, 2008. If you wnat to know more about it, here’s the official website http://en.beijing2008.cn
Accordingly, fireworks will highlight the opening ceremony.
“For the first time, the shape of the Olympic Rings will be formed in the sky,” said Wang, adding that Olympic symbols and elements will be a part of fireworks’ designs with an aim to promote Olympic ideals.
Firing skills will feature compressive air launches, chamber pressure launches and computerized ignition technologies, employed for the first time in the display of fireworks, he told the media attending a press conference in Beijing.
To reflect the “Green Olympics” concept, some of the fireworks will use less smoking powder to minimize smoke and dust pollution, Wang said.
The designers intend to highlight the fireworks’ effect both on the ceremony’s stadium and larger areas around the facility so that the Olympic central zone will be an extension of the ceremony owing to the splendid fireworks. [link]

Beijing Olympics 2008 – Opening Ceremony plan

The ceremony will be on 08.08.2008 and will start officially at 08:08:08 p.m. ( GMT +8 ) [ 15:00 KW ] .. and will last about three and half hours.
A 75-minute “pre-ceremony” performance ( Starting at 5:45 pm [ 12:45 KW ] ) that will end at 7:00 p.m. [ 14:00 KW ] will feature folk and ethnic art from 28 teams across the country.
The core part of the ceremony — the artistic performance — will last one hour.
It will be divided into two parts — one to highlight China’s age-old civilization and the other to highlight China’s splendid modern era.
The theme song will come at the end of the performance by China’s Liu Huan and Sarah Brightman from Britain .
The post-performance part of the ceremony will last two and a half hours and comprises various Olympic rituals and traditions,
including a declaration from Chinese President Hu Jintao opening the Games and a two-hour long parade of athletes.
Delegations from 205 national and regional Olympic committees will enter the stadium according to the order of the simplified Chinese characters.

Beijing 2008 Open ceremony date and time is August 08, 08 @ 08:08 am, According to the Sidereal System the planets combination is a very evil position and powerful influence it shows after Olympics China has to faced grave danger of International disputes, disagreement with other Powers, unsatisfactory condition of foreign relations, and danger of War. Good luck trying to find any live video. I was watching purposefully at 8:00 EST, or 8:00 PM Beijing Time. Their own Website only has static pictures. I have Chinese television satellite, and not even their own network is running the opening ceremony. By the way CNN doesn;t have it either. Something about the fireworks and opening ceremony being copyrighted. Gee I thought the olympics were supposed to be for the whole world. Not just a personal show for China. Ah yes, always can depend on their ridiculousness to filter throughout everything they do.

Will watch as much as I possibly can. Why? As a semi-athlete, love discipline in athletes, they are my role models, especially who came this far to qualify for the Olympics.
See lots of similarities between preparation and finale in business and sports, since business is game that wins for you if you go for it wholeheartedly and give you all to it, playing ethically.

the best ever opening ceremony of the olympics. This is what China wanted the entire planet to see. What it is and what is has acheived. Not any other country have made such a grandise display of creativity and technology. A big bravo to China and it people.
Those who have not watched this opening ceremony have not watched anything in their life.

The Olympics Opening Ceremony will only be broadcasted on NBC and will be pre-recorded. The time that China has their opening ceremony is 8:08pm which is equivalent to 5:08am.

i thought it was really creepy when the canadians came it was like theyre in war they were llike CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGE. and some idiot israili was talking on the phone as if hes gonna hear anything. and those 2 weirdos on the globe were just weird. and some people were jumping up and down its a good thing they ddnt land on the midget. we spent like 8 hours just on the intro. and whats with the people on the umbrellas?. and this woman looked like she dropped her fan thingy. Bejiing totally ruined it!! its was like sooooooooooooo stupid next time do it in english alphabetical order we waited like 4ever for the charging canadians to come out. i mean its not like THE BRITISH ARE COMING. it was like THE CANADIANS ARE COMING. now that was a show

I WATCHED THE OPENING CEREMONY OF OLYMPIC GAMES IN CHINA.
I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE THEM.ALL THE ITEMS PRESENTED BY CHINA’S PEOPLE WERE ASTONISHING SPECIALLY THE CONCEPT OF WORLD, A FLYING DOLL WITH A KITE,THE SCENE OF COLOURING BY THE LITTLE KIDS……….
