The Ministry of Interior has instructed managers of all immigration departments not to issue visit visas to people other than the wives and children of expatriate applicants and all the previous decisions in this issue are null and void, reports Arabtimes.  Does this means that our parents cannot visit us anymore here in Kuwait? We are 3 siblings here in Kuwait and our parents used to visit us frequently, when I gave birth to our son,  my mother and father came to witness how their first grandchild delivered into this world, they were used of coming here in Kuwait to check our situations in this foreign land. Now, how could we sponsor them if they will plan to visit us again? 😦 Does our parents presence in this country for a short period of time can affect economy, peace and order?

I was drafting some contract when suddenly our GM peeped into my room, he read the papers and after a while…
GM : Change it into like this ( )
Me: Why?
GM : I think….(the CEO came in and asked what’s the paper all about, we showed it to him)
CEO : No, remove this and replace it with this one ( )
Me: (Listening)
GM : No, it should be like this ( )
CEO : Too bad, it must have to be changed, my idea should be followed here, this company is mine (smiles)
GM : I knew but we can’t change it as simple as that, we must have to talk about this first.
CEO: What?
Me : (Took the papers from them) This should not be changed, whatever I wrote there then that’s final, today this company is mine.
GM and CEO : (Stared me with their how-dare-you-look and they didn’t able to say a word)
They left me in my room and I finalized the contract based on what I think is right! lol 🙂

A raven-haired Miss Japan, Riyo Mori, was crowned Miss Universe 2007.

Mori, 20, the 56th winner of the title, was given her $250,000 diamond-and-pearl crown by last year’s winner, Zuleyka Rivera of Puerto Rico, watched by a live audience of 10,000 and some 600 million television viewers worldwide.

A lifelong ballet dancer from a village near Mount Fuji, Mori wore a striking black gown with colored lapels for the final. Winning surpassed the ambition of her grandmother, who told her as a child she wanted her to be Miss Japan one day.

She is the second Japanese woman to win the Miss Universe title.
